Job Hunt

What it does

Job Hunt is a dashboard for the whole search. Each time it opens, it checks the job boards of the employers you follow and puts new matching roles in front of you. Every role you keep sits on one pipeline board, grouped by where it is up to, with deadlines, follow up reminders and tasks on the home page so nothing slips.

Every role rated

• A screen score out of 100 for every role, even one found a minute ago. It weighs the kind of work, the level, the location, any stated degree requirement and the sector, and shows the reason when a role cannot be right, such as a closing date that has passed.
• A fit score once you record an advert’s requirements: how many of its must haves you can show strong evidence for.

Your CVs, tailored to each job

Every application has its own folder with the advert, your CV and your cover letter, all visible from the job itself. For each role, the assistant reads the advert and your own material and recommends what to change and what to lead with. CVs open in an editor that rebuilds the document as you edit, and the dashboard learns from your edits so later suggestions sound like you.

Yours, on your machine

Everything is kept as plain files on your own computer, with no account and no cloud, and backed up each time the dashboard opens. It can also be opened on your phone over a private connection to your own devices.
